Fairhope, Alabama
This was our fifth trip to work with our dear friends in Fairhope! Once again, our construction team went above and beyond our expectations! Their servant hearts and skilled hands work wonders in converting the three-story barn into a beautiful training and meeting center.
We tackled two main projects this year: building a second story deck, and lots of dry wall taping, mudding, and sanding inside in the newly framed bedrooms. All this as well as the usual brush clearing and burning. It wouldn’t be a Fairhope work week without a fire going!
A trip highlight is always the local Satsumas we consume. Satsumas are a type of tangerine grown in the area. This year a couple of us got to go pick bags of Satsumas for the team. What a treat!
We’re so grateful to be a part of the vision the Lee and Cindy have for creating a place of ministry in this gorgeous corner of Alabama! We look forward to our return next year!
Committed to make a difference,
